How to out HDV so that a Mac can read it?

I am using Edius 4.02 and am trying to save HDV 16 x 9 to a file or tape so that a Mac can read the video. My output format is HVD 1080/29.97 and the exporter plug-in is Canopus HQ AVI.

Any help would be appreciated

Canopus HQ is not readable on any Mac OS-based system. For HD, you have only two options:

1. Go back out to HDV MPEG-2
2. Go out to Uncompressed HD AVI
