  • Edius Programs White-out ? ?

With everyone help, I have finished my first major project in Edius and I am considering using it for my next project, AVCHD wedding. As a newbie I am still learning and have a few concerns. During my previous project if I hit "undo" the program would display an white shadow on the entire program, then there is a long...long . . . long waite for the program to be active again. This happen to many times, was not a time saving experience. It would happen on other events too. Could someone please tell me what is happening and maybe how to avoid this in my next project.

    Edius 6.5xx; Win 7 Pro 64; Intel i7 980 @3.33GHZ; 12 GB Ram, GeForce GTX 460

    Thanks

At the time of those events, I am not sure what the status was of the Antivirus, only because I disable, and sometimes enable when on the web. So to be honest I am not sure. . . . . will consider that, I am able to duplicate this . . maybe I'll load the project and test

It also would be good to check the disk speed.

Good point, I had very similar when my SSD was failing, complete white overlay on Edius with complete windows freeze took around 30 secs to recover
Also computer would occasionally fail to start

Perfect now with a new drive
