Looking for effect similar to the SCREEN setting in After Effects

I have 2 videos, both have black backgrounds and something going on, I need to "merge them" together, in After effects I just click the SCREEN option in the MODE drop down menu and the black on the top video becomes transparent, kind of like a chroma key or green screen.

What is the way to do this in EDIUS?

There are many ways around this but 2 quick ways would be.

If you just want to crop and scale one video over the other:
Lay the two clips in line with each other on seperate video tracks. Go to filter/keyers/3dPIP and crop it under the crop tab or scale and position it under the position tab.

If you want to select a colour to key out
Line the clip up as above then go to filter/keyers/chromakey or luminancekey and select the colour or luma you need to key out from the top video track and you should see the video track come thru those holes.

Apologies if it sounds confusing but it's hard to explain in notes.
