  • Mac question/ Edius

Just got a mac can someone please tell me how can I check how big the hard drive is? This is so different from my PC system and I can't find it anywhere.

Using Edius 4.5 on PC Mac for my internet. Do you think Edius will ever be made to use on a Mac?

    Thanks
    Lauri

    Sounds like a multi-part Mac-n-quiz...

In the Finder, select the the drive, folder, file, etc. and hunt down "Get Info" (AppleKey + I)

Thank gawd we'll never see Edius for mac! (imho) We'd all need matching outfits.

      Hi Lauri,

Right click on the hard drive in question and select 'get info'

about Edius being made for the Mac OS, well that would make my day too,
but I don't think that will ever happen.

      Cheers

Two years ago Mac sales were 4% of all computers...today it is pushing 8% and growing. I would never say never and at some point they can not ingnore the trend...I guess they could and be left behind. Adobe isn't.

The move to Intel helped them quite a bit...I feel that the Mac Pro was my wisest computer purchase throughout all these years. I don't have to fiddle with any installations, so simple yet so effective. Did I mention that it doesn't make a peep even with so much power under the hood? :)

We might actually not need to install Edius in a mac as it seems that using mac software on a windows machine is becoming an ever so close reality

Nothing beats a real Mac...they design reliable machines. I wouldn't want to run OSX on a Dell.

Yeah I would rather the PC software move over to the Mac.

                Just installed Leopard....cool OS.

By the way the new DVD player software in 10.5 runs ProCoder files correctly now....about time.

                  Mac Question/Edius

Now I just wish Apple would update DVDSP 4 to blue ray.

I'm staying away from Leopard until Adobe officially releases a patch for AECS3 in December.

I just installed Leopard last night. Looks pretty cool, but I have not had a chance to look under the hood yet.
