    Try Imaginate for the roll

Imaginate does great animation and works well with Edius 4.5.
You could move a photoshop-designed credits graphic that way without impacting quality.

Interesting work around. I will try that for my next credit roll...for now I got my project completed.

    Any other recommendations?

I know it is a pain that quick titler handles the whole text block the same. I found to get around it I use ALL CAPS for the lines I want to emphasise and lower case or Title Case for the sub text. It's less than completely flexible but it's an alternative.

The functionality of TMPro is not the question. I can work pretty quickly in it but with 4.5? there is a known issue with TMP credit rolls and crawls causing Edius to crash. This is what I am experiencing. I created a credit roll today and had it formatted perfectly....everytime Edius encounters it the hard drive starts thrashing and Edius takes a dump. I tried recreating it and doing something a little different and both times it crashed. I finally gave up and exported the footage to AE and did it there. Took me much longer than it should have and had many more steps to pull it off.

It's more than just a few....we are talking credits for a wedding party. I like to have a header that says "Maid of Honor" in big text and in color and then the name beneath it in smaller text and white. The same thing for Best Man, Parents, Groomsmen, Readers, Ushers.....etc....

The poster is using quicktitler now because of the problems with rolls and crawls in 4.52
Think you read it wrong. :)

Best way to make a credit roll

Ok....so I know TMPro has issues with Rolls and Crawls. What is the best way to make one without buying a full new titler? I know Quicktitler will work but for my credit rolls I like to have the title of the person in a bigger font and color than the actual names. Quicktitler applies all font changes to the entire chunk of text. You can't individually apply font properties to a single line in Quicktitler....at least not that I am aware of.

I have never used Quicktitler....always used TMPro....somehow a long time ago I figured out how to use the thing and enjoy it. :-)

I worked around the problem for now but exporting a chunk of video to After Effect and building the credit roll there but that seems like lots of work for something that should just work in Edius.

    Any other recommendations?
