Integrated transitions are a bit hard to come by. Boris will work. Lately I have been using Swipes from Digital Juice. Wipes with sound Effects.

Vitascene is another good one...if you have a good graphics card, they might be Realtime for your system (Blurs etc are very heavy on the GPU).

Check out the trial. Alot of people like it and alot of the transitions aren't cheesy like Adorage, but very useful.

        swipes from digital juice

I just got my order of swipes from digital juice and the new juicer 3.

What settings are you using for rendering swipes in juicer 3?

I tried to install juicer3 on two of my machines and only got it to run on one.

        Thanks

Ronnie see my PM to you. I don't know why Juicer 3 won't run on your machines. They have worked on 4 of mine.

BTW I love swipes and some of the other DJ stuff.

I will second that on the swipes. Easy to use and if you have soundfx 1 and 2 you will have 2 different audio tracks from which to choose. You have more but these two will be automatically displayed for you in Juicer 3.

Pat, could you let us know what you are using? I would like everyone to see the answer if needed :)

Why use Juicer since you can add the uncompressed .mov files inside Edius that can do the conversion as well?

You can do batch rendering and convert it to anything. Also, the audio is added within Juicer 3 for the Swipes. You can choose which audio to
add if you have the Sound FX products.

                    Question about Swipes

Greetings. I'm new to the forum. We've recently purchased Swipes, love the transitions and the sfx. Problem is we haven't been able to render sfx with the transition--have to do each separately. Has anyone run into that problem and, if so, how have you corrected it?

Rendered together no problem here. Rendered in Juicer 3 with QT animation with Alpha settings. Format Quicktime Movie Import into Edius and convert in Bin.

There is a settings under Audio in Juicer 3. Make sure Embed with Video is selected (under Track Options)

                      BTW, welcome to the forums!

OK, been gone a week and trying once again. Did everything you mentioned. When playback is done in a QT viewer, the sound is there. When I try to place on an Edius Timeline, all I get is video. The audio is GONE. Can't even take it to an audio track. I can render the audio only and it's fine, but that doubles the steps. Any other suggestions?

When you dbl click on the file in the Bin and click play does it play with audio in the player window?

No. That's what is so frustrating. I've been doing everything that I think I'm supposed to be doing, yet nothing but the sound of silence.

                              OK, let's retrace steps.
                              1. You are rendering it out of juicer 3 as I suggested?
                              2. When you locate the file wherever you saved the render and you dbl CLK on it to open it, it opens in QT and plays with the audio?
                              3. You import that file into Edius and when dbl clk on it it does NOT play audio with the wipe (not talking about it being on the timeline here)?
