    Also need to add that the FireWire interface on the DVStorm hardware is incompatible with HDV devices, so you will need an additional OHCI FireWire port to get I/O functioning with an HDV camera or deck.

    Brad, I do that, just select your DV Storm in the output settings when you start your project, then capture and edit your HDV as normal. You can then view your results on your external monitor through the "S" connection albeit in SD.

    Output HDV through Storm??

    Is this possible? I wondering if I can take one of my extra Storm cards and use it to view HDV(although it won't actually be HDV coming out the S-cable) with Edius? I'm thinking that I can take my HDV project and change the settings to SD 16:9 and output through the storm to a NTSC monitor. I could use this for color correction and other things. Then just switch the settings back to HDV for output later. Will this work??
