Audio scrubbing

How can I turn audio scrubbing off in Edius 4.52? I don't mean as in audio mute.
In Rex/Storm Edit there was an option to switch it on/off.
It speeds up and smooths scrolling the timeline.

It's not possible to turn it off.

My scrubbing is smooth even on the old P4 with a Storm2.

Audio Scrub is smooth... but without it editing is really more smooth...

When I edit with Avid I can enable audio scrubbing only when needed... and it is really usefull....

It is with a Storm2 card and it is smooth, but its faster if i mute the audio, i.e. turn off audio scrubbing.
Muting on/off is too cumbersome to turn on and off while scrubbing and playing.

An audio scrubbing on/off option would be great.
