  • Combine different speed audio and video

    Hi

Could anyone, plz, point me to right way in doing some simple task.

I have video ver. 1 with audio track. It's in sync, running in 24 fps.
I have video ver. 2 (with amended gfx), but it's in 23 fps.

What's the best way to sync audio from video ver. 1 (24 fps) to video ver 2. (23 fps), having in mind, that finally i'll need QT HD at 24 fps.

    Thanks in advance.

What are you using that is 23fps? As this will be a real issues, regardless of it being video or audio.

    Cheers,
    Dave.

in the bin, right click the 23.98fps clip and change it to 24fps prior to adding to timeline

make sure project setting is on 24p

Anton, can you please explain why changing the fps of the clip after it being already on the timeline wouldn't help?

once a clip is on timeline, changing speed does nothing, you need to change speed in the bin and then add to timeline

If you already added it to the timeline, can you just delete it from the timeline, make the change in the bin and then put it back on the timeline?
