They certainly do - a few users here have been running it through it's paces too, with some trialling beta builds to iron out the kinks.

I believe we're creating EDIUS NX + ProDad bundle packages for Europe.

I've talked to some people who have used it on Adobe and they like it better than 2D3's steadymove, Mercalli also does HD, only drawback I've heard about is no keyframing, you have to do the entire clip or isolate sections of it by razor

I'm currently using Mercalli and it flat-out smokes in Edius.
It's also bundled with Shake and it does as the name suggests.
I recall a thread a while back looking for a way to "shake" a video. This does it!

An NX bundle would be quite attractive.

Mercali works in EDIUS but there are some quality issues.
The are more apparent quality footage.
There where reports on those problems in other threads.
If these little quirks can be worked out it will be an awesome addition to EDIUS.

I agree with Rusty, Mercalli is fast as I get 5 to 7x RT during analyzing process with all 4-cores running +94%! I have Mercalli Expert that gives you more control settings.

As for quality issues I was getting softness with older revision, but the latest update fixed the softness issue as I was doing frame by frame comparison with 720p/480p footage on a 480p timeline with no shakes.

I also use ProDAD's Heroglyph for Animated Map Routing, Titling Effects plus I use Vitascene for it's RT GPU Filmlook Effects all within EDius v4.51c.

ProDAD's support is top notch! If you have a problems just email them as they respond within 1-2 days (or after a weekend) depending when the email sent.

I used the trial on some footage of mine, and while I tried hard to like it, I could not come up with something that didn't have conspicuous artifacts or heavy blurring along the edge of the clip.

Maybe the trial version is behind with updates, but the issues with the Mercalli output were just as objectionable as the shaky source that I started with.

I also have mercali expert latest service pack and a lot of issues are not fixed.
I use precise image analyzes (intensive rendering ) without border and all the detections and settings are tuned to produce the highest quality possible.
But on a broadcast monitor I spot the problems right away

I never tried the trial version, but I know that the retail version never had artifacts in my footage only the softness issue which was easily spotted on my HDTV. Now with the latest update it is very hard to see any softness even with frame by frame comparison. This is when I was looking at HDV converted to HQ 480p and displayed via DVStrom2 component-out (480i) to a 720p HDTV.

Currently I'm very satisfied with Mercalli Expert :)

I think it is very nice you don't have any issues.
There is a blur line issue when using underscan.
There is artifacting even when using best "settings" very visible when using Helicopter shot footage and footage where you have flowing water and moving objects.
                      The list goes on.
I do agree that their support is very good.

Knowing ProDAD's support they should get you some answers/fixes for your issues.

I've only used Mercalli on Canopus HQ file formats within Edius 4.51c without any artifacts issues (if makes any difference).

Angelo, when you get a chance, can you check the version number of your Mercalli Expert? I'd like to see how close the trial version I downloaded is to that.
