    • Doesn't matter what the internal processing is, the HD-SDI interface is YCbCr 10-bit.
    • None of the EDIUS line supports RGB capture or output.
You need to run an RGB-component transcoder if you need to capture RGB, or go with a different input device like the new Pegasus board.

Yes as long as you dont need to capture component HD material. Standard Def is fine.

    RGB is old school...

    telecine

Yes, the RGB come from my telecine (a modified projector with JVC GR-PD1) triccd "hd"
I used for the moment firewire, but my frame seems to me blur. I thought RGB could correct it, and also I thought I could access to the options of light/contrast/HUE/finess in real time available in analog mode with the DVStorm 2.
    Michael. thanks

I dont even think that EDIUS HD does RGB capture via HDSDI, after all EDIUS is only an 8 bit program.

What's your output connection from ?? telecine?

    Hi Mich,

Well, the optional card is actually component not RGB but furthermore it's an output card only, so you can't injest with it. Sorry

    Dvstorm - Edius - RGB

    Hello,

I've a DVSTORM2 with the optionnal RGB card,
anyone know how can I input my signal RGB and capture it ??
I have only the 3 mode "analog - s-video and DV" in all my capture soft !
(mpeg capture - premiere - edius - dvcapture)

    Thanks a lot

    Michael

    Bonjour,

    Merci

    Michael
