  • Issue with moving project folder

We have a shared storage where when our editors work on a project on their local pc will copy it so it can be accessed from other pc's. We have 1 user now that when copying the project and opened on another station the clips still reference their local drive. I know i can re-link the files but i am trying to figure out why the 20 some users do not have this issue. We are running 6.55 and a few on 6.54. When this started i did already wipe and re-load the entire system and getting same result. where can i begin to look and why only 1 user having this issue. anyone else that copy's their project folder can be opened with no issues.

    Thanks..

They will be working local d:\Projects\"projectname"
      It gets moved to r:\extras\project\"projectname"

After doing more research it must be something with version 6.5 We have been moving projects around with version 6 for 2 years with no issues.

I am sure that will work but not a work flow that will work.

this issue is usually no issue when using internal drives

it usually only creeps up when network or external drives are used with certain versions of EDIUS

I have not seen it yet in EDIUS7
