Edius 6.5 reinstall?

Click on Installed updates, above Turn Windows features on and off
Check you have installed a higher version than 9 by opening Internet Explorer and under Help select "About Internet Explorer"

The version of Internet explorer should also be shown in the Turn windows Features on and off BUT that will not fix the problem it does not uninstall and revert to 9 it just stops it working

The windows internet explorer rollback to 9 seems to have fixed the problem with the trial version not running or closing properly.

Now I just need to find my hardcopy of Edius 6.5 and the serial number.

The serial number on my registered products page on GV's website apparently is not the serial# that the trial version will accept.

I don't think I actually received Edius 6.5 on a DVD from my reseller.

Now I need to check with my reseller on Monday if he has my serial # on file.

OK, Everything is back to normal.

I had held off updating to Edius 6 and when I finally did I was eligible to receive a free upgrade to 6.5.

I found the email from GV with the activation code for my upgrade. Everything is working as before.

Windows Internet Explorer 10 was the culprit. Once I rolled back to 9 everything works as before.

Make sure you have turned off auto update on windows
I set mine to notify and check each item and click on the info button on the right and check what each does
I have hidden the update for 10 and 11 and so far it has not tried to return
Stopped me dead in my tracks but I knew what had been updated and removed each in turn till I found the culprit

Glad it fixed the problem
