exporting HD

Hai,

My broadcast company switched from SD to HD, so I have to send my files through FTP in a HD format. I tried different options, but the files are way to big. What is the best option to export a story so that the properties are reasonably low and the quality loss is minimum?

The best way is to find out what the technical documents of the Station say.
What do they expect/want for HD delivery.

What format are you sending it as right now?
I think the best quality with the smallest file size is .mp4
