edius 4.5 and bcf2000 not working pleace help !

? and what ? return edius and the bfc2000 ?
Canopus support bcf2000 so were is the minimum doc ?

if some one have a bfc successfully working in edius please help :-)

1 Connect unit to pc.
1a some systems need the usb driver available from behringer
When using the usb driver from behringer you have to turn the unit on before or during booth or your system won't booth completely.

2 start Edius

3 go to plugin settings

4 go to input controller ->fader -> fader device settings choose Behringer bcf 2000
do a reconnect

5 Now under fader the Behringer BCF 2000 will show up
Click to open it and you'll see the mixer layout appear
Go to load presets in the layout and load preset 9
apply ok.

6 you are done.

Note: It does not work as it does in audio apps. Only fader control and JKL work.

it's not working sorry not simple :-)

it's a bfc and firmware 1.10 (all new) it's work with ardour (audio soft) on ubuntustudio it ok

on windows by default the slot 09 is for reason (audio soft)

the "b-control" software see/update/change/save the .syx no probleme (not very stable but work)

when i connect the bcf on edius 45c (i am in the midle of some work i update next week)
it's "connect" but after it can't update "cannel" 09 or 10 or nothing

echec de l'instalation
comfir the conection bla bla bla

is any were a file like a canopus.syx too load in the bcf2k ?

or any idea ?

Can you try to move reason to another spot with the bcf software.
Keep 9 empty .
Then do the steps above.

Because here the bcf works in EDIUS(under vista and xp on different systems) . I will look at my firmware ect tomorrow and will post details.

While BCF2000 is running in Edius, is the buffer falling down (like with the mixer or VST plug-ins) ?

yes i try that but not simple in b-control (Behringer soft) it's copy/paste not erase the slot 9 is free but not empty... :-)

in a new direction maybe it's possible too put with b-control the good .syx ?
the good edius.syx in your bcf2k, copy it with b-contol ----mail---my bcf ?

Use this file in EDIUS.

Go to plugin-> input controller -> fader Behringer bcf 2000

Under left choose import and import this file.

the probleme is my usb2/winxp/edius but a don't have any problme but this one imposible edius feed the bfc to that file a .syx file for the precet 9 of the bfc

a friend upload is file from is bcf and with the soft bcedit (from beringher) i upload it too the bfc 1 try and it's work :-)

now edius see the bfc and work with it no problme , nice !

ps sorry for my strange English but if any one have a "strange" probleme whith edius and the bfc like my it could help a litlle

si j'ai un peu + de temps je reécrirer ca en Francais :-)

What is BFC 2000, for Edius ?

The BFC2000 is a controller, it enables you to control certain functions with hardware vice using virtual controls in software also since the faders are motorized changes in the virtual will be reflected on the hardware.
