I have some footage I need to capture which was shot on a JVC 250U in 60p mode, and when I tried to do that a few weeks ago I couldn't get Edius Pro 4.0 to get it. Do I need to upgrade to a more recent version, and/or is there any other trick to capturing this footage?

Try selecting MPEG-TS 720/29.97p from the input settings dialog...
A customer of mine had the same problem with 720/50p footage and he noticed that he can do the capture when selecting 720/25p.

Okay, thanks. Is there a way to get the beta version of that now so I can capture this footage?Edius 6.5 on Lenovo W520 laptop: Intel Core i7-2720QM @2.2 GHz, Nvidia graphics card, 8GB RAM, Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Canon Vixia HF-G10, three Sony HDV video cameras and one Canon 7D.
