  • Changing Sound device while editing

I constantly change my sound device between my PC speakers and my flat-screen-TV (which is connected to my PC via HDMI). If Edius is opened during the change, it will not change the playback source of Edius. I need to close and open the project again for it to take effect. Is there any reason for this or a way to make this work?

if you have playback hardware such as Spark or Matrox or BM, you won't suffer from any of this

I personally would never use the HDMI of a graphics card to feed a TV

Oh, no... the HDMI TV is when I sit in the living room to watch a movie... not for Edius :-)
