Sorry I cannot reproduce the issue you are seeing. As for the title track you can use them if you want . It is perfectly fine.

the T track is a leftover so that you can open projects that were made with older versions of EDIUS

basically, to see why you should avoid T is this:

place a title in T track in HD project
now switch project to SD (in order to exports to DVD with lanczos3)
note that the title is way too large now

this does not happen in V tracks and it is easy to add fade in and out to title in V track in one hit, click the keyer section of the title and then drag dissolve from effects palette to info palette, done

I will test your T track issue later and if I can confirm it, I will report it in any case

I think that I have to add a piece of information. EDIUS can correctly scale a Quicktitle on a title track when switching to a SD project. It depends on how you set the tile detail.
If the title detail is set to project size it will stay at 1920. If it is set to Auto it will get scaled correctly to SD.

But I agree that using V track is a better choice because it opens a world of possibilities.

Fwiw, I too prefer the "T" tracks for the inherent organisational/workflow advantages they offer for basic titling ... it's a shame that the Layouter controls are still second class on those tracks.

can you check the title layouter (as mentioned earlier) and make sure X and Y are set to 0

Can you try to set it to auto before the switch?

@ Ziggiman. We are unable to reproduce the issue and it seems that a few user I asked are unable to reproduce it. It looks like there may be something in a setting or your system which is causing this odd behavior.

There are 2 things which you can try :
1 Check the layouter as others have suggested and
2 Make a new user profile.

Also can we get your OS version is it English or are you using localized?
Which font did you use in the titles.
Can you please zip a title and upload it?
