Most of the new cameras today shoot in AVCHD 60p. Is Edius 6.5 and/or 7 capable of exporting in AVCHD 60p? I know earlier versions of the program only support 60i.
    Thanks

    simple ... YES....Edius 6.5 and 7

you need to make first your own 60p project setting....

Ok just to confirm this must be a new feature from 6.02 as I see i do not have any export presets for 60p, only 60i settings.?

That would provide better slow mo than using the Edius slo-mo function?

Do it right and you get output without interpolation. (40%)

You can just modify any of the output presets. Take a 60i preset, check enable conversion, open the advanced settings window and set frame rate and progressive. Same way as setting up a project preset for 60P. Works in 6.07 on my second PC.

And then you would could the slow motion section as a sequence and then reinsert into a timeline?

I gotta be doing something wrong, When I drop my 60P footage in a 24P project I do not get slow motion playing the timeline or exporting. Any idea what I am doing wrong.

                    Yes
                    Before placing on the timeline
With the clip in the BIN right click and select "Properties" and set the frame rate to 24 or what your project is
                    Then place on the timeline
