Edius 7.2 - 5.1 or 7.1 playback while editing

Is it possible?
I have Edius 7.2 with BlackMagic Decklink Studio.
Can I edit 6 or 8 channel footage playng back in 5.1 or 7.1 Dolby Digital via Hdmi or Aes outputs?

Probably not. It has been reported here that it works with some AMPs through HDMI, but it does not seem to work with many others.

You need to set up a project with 6 channels and route them properly. I talk about exporting surround sound and setting up the channel map according in the 3rd part of my "10 EDIUS secrets" video you can see here:

You set the channels up the same way for monitoring.

I can get surround sound out of the on board sound card on my systems but you cannot hear sound through the sound card at the same time as watching picture through the Blackmagic.
