    Sometimes I open up TMpro, make a textbox, define the picture as a logo, an insert the/picture in the textbox, then you can edge the picture, move it around and so on

    I am not sure I follow what you want but 3d pip( look under keyers) has a tab for enabling a border of any color and size you want. Now if the problem is the "black background then that is easy. Move the pip w/ border to a higher track and make a color matt to put underneath it....if nothing is below a track edius defaults to black so the only way to change that is with a matt or other background.
    On the transition try changing the application settings>uncheck the "set cutting point of transition to front". That should make the default the middle....or you can use A/B style like the old days of 6.5.

    OK people I need your help, PLEASE! I am scratching my head here....I am trying to add a still image on the time line of EDIUS 4.5 and then put a white 5pt border around ONLY the picture. I can do this in PREMIER 6.5 with Canopus PIP FILTER.
