  • upgrade from neo 2 to edius 7

Is there an upgrade path from Neo 2.01 to Edus 7?

I've poked around the 'net and the forums a bit but haven't found anything conclusive. B&H has a 6.5 crossgrade available:

The description says "legacy upgrade is for users with a valid license for EDIUS version 5 or older". Does my Neo license satisfy that requirement?

With the free upgrade to 7 that makes the upgrade from Neo 2 to 7 very inexpensive. That can't possibly be right...

Do you have a older copy of Premiere or Vegas? If so, I would use that to cross grade.

Ok that makes sense for the crossgrade.

Has anyone ordered from Safe Harbor before? I can't tell if this looks legit:

Maybe I should just buy full retail from B&H

In the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) dealers are able to offer a crossgrade from Neo 1/2/3.x to Edius 6.5. Then you would register for the free upgrade to Edius 7.
