  • 3d video overlay on a moving, targeted area in a clip

    Hello all.
Is there somebedy to help me out of a challenging task?
    Here is the goal:
In a video clip there is a huge book to be seen, with a hand opening and turning it's pages slowly, from right to left side. On the pages, instead of written words and lines still pictures should be seen in 3D. Whatever should them be, these overlayed pictures should be bending as the moving page curving in and out. On each page a different still picture should be seen in a 3D motion manner as long as the pages move.
    Thanks so lot

Sorry, I am not clear. Is this Stereoscopic 3D of 3D graphics?

I guess this is about 3D graphics, and there are some 3D capabilities in the layouter, but it requires lots of keyframing.

this is impossible with a hand

you can do it without hand by using GPU Album Transitions

or use third party album software for more realistic looks

bending picture with bending, embedded still picture in a clip

Hello and thanks for your interest.
There is no stereo effect at all in purpouse.
The goal is to get an embedded, inlaid picture upon a moving object in the clip. As the object (the pages of a book) move while turning, perspectives of the embedded image change on it as well. Parallel lines would curve as the pages bend. In and out.
My guess is that beforehand a book should be filmed with the hand turning the pages slowly. On each page 4 or 6 "+" tracking marks should be marked in advance on the margin as reference guide. This, in order to be able to build the curving perspective of the overdropped, whatever image. Image that could be still as well as motion picture by the way.
Some say in After Effects it is possible.

            embedded image effect

            Hi.
One more word about this topic for a better understanding of the purpouse.
Simply put, instead of letters, words, and lines of sentences on the white pages moved by a hand, you see whatever picture of your choice taken from the editing bin. Still or motion picture regardlessly.

You might want to look at Mocha Pro. It is a plannar tracker but can do rather remarkable things. Go to the Imagineer web site to see some examples.

Mocha Pro is an award-winning planar tracking tool for motion tracking, rotoscoping, object removal, camera stabilization and general visual effects.

yes all right, but where to begin?

                  Hello.
I installed Mocha Pro 3.1.1. (5881) on my puter. All good till then.
But where & how to begin my project of flipping pages with curving/bending images on them...?
