Here is a temporary fix for the 4:3 in a 16:9 project.
When you want to create a Tmpro project:
1 create a tmpro title i the bin
2 don't type anything
3 use save as and exit
4 right click on the title
5 click the tab which says still image info
6 Bring the aspect to the aspect of the project
for SD 16:9 it is 1.2000 (16:9)
7 Now you can bring the title on the time line and when you edit your title is will now be saved with the correct aspect and you can enjoy your 16:9 tiltles again.
I just want to add something very important here:
When using my work around the live out will be will showing 4:3 when editing the title but when you close tmpro the output will be correct 16:9
You can check this by adding a circle when you are making a title.
It will look like an egg when editing in tmpro but once you close tmpro it will be a circle again.
So you should not rely on the live out when designing
