Problem with Vitascene

I'm running 2.0x. I dumped version 1 as soon as V2 was released.
So, you had the gradient instead of a bur on the first transition? You could try a re-install of the program.

Version 1.1.147. All monitors look just like the screen shot. I stumbled upon this screen shot and it seemed to help a bit but the transparency is still there.

When you look at it on the Edius monitor do both look normal?
Look at the screen shot to see how to turn off the Vitascene monitor.

Do you have Vitascene 1.1?

Try effect #215. It is highlited in blue.#221 which is on the right next to #215 the effect works perfectly. Any idea why this happens. I have version 1 which came bundled with Edius. Also how do I shut off the monitor?

I am on the latest version and the gradient does pass through the spark card to my external monitor.

I just applied the same Classic blur 100 to a transition between two clips and it looks perfect. If you are basing the effect on the Vitascene monitor, that is a mistake.
As a matter of fact, turn off the Vitascene display and use the Edius playback monitor instead. The GUI functions normally when the display portion is off. There are issues with the GUI when using the monitor.
Which version of Vitascene and which version of Edius. I have turned the monitor off since way back in Edius 5.51.

Does the gradient pass through to the final effect? If so, you might want to see if there is an update for your version.

It looks like it is showing a gradient. The top part is more transparent while the bottom is not.

Can anyone explain the checkerboard transparency on some Viitascene transitions? I applied this transition between two clips on the same track and when played on the timeline the front of the transition is black and not the actual video. This does not happen on all Vitascene transitions.
