Are you using the "Nearest" checkbox option in the Speed Control dialog window?

Generally more frames per second will do better for slow mo. If you are trying to slow down 25 frames per second, you don't have that many frames to work with, hence you can't slow it down that much before it starts to 'look bad'.

What Processing Option did you select, and how much did you slow down the footage?

Well - let´s just hope, that Canopus Tech. adresses this issue asap. German support agrees that this is a problem - so it should be corrected soon(hopefully...)

I can confirm this, but on 720p30 footage...It just looks bad. Even 60p looks bad.

What frame rate did you shoot in? Is your footage progressive or interlaced?

Bad looking slow with 720p footage

I had to slow 720 HDV footage the other day - normally Edius slows ok, but this - ARGH! Looked so bad, I had to slow in After Effects and then reimport.

I have later on talked with Canopus Support in Germany, and they were able to reproduce the same bad looking slow. So far so good - hopefully this is to be fixed in a future release. It doesn´t help me right now...

Is there any pro´s who have found a workaround - using AE for slowing is a tidious process I´d rather be without.

    Help wouldf be highly appreciated!
