Fine or standard

How does this setting work, while capturing or during playback? Is it better to have it in Fine?

To my knowledge, it works when you capture avi files using canopus HQ codec. It creates larger avi files when set to fine with less compresion.

Actually you can set this globally, it's in the "Hardware settings" under Canopus HQ....or was it Application settings? Not in front of my computer right now.

Anyways, Fine uses a higher bitrate, of course I am sure that you will need a trained eye to notice the difference between Fine and standard
