  • Is 4.52 bugfree ???

I upgraded from 4.24 to 4.51c and then had to turn back because of bugs.
Is the upgrade to 4.52 worth to do ???

Nothing is ever bug free :)

4.52 fixes bugs related to TMPro and QuickTitler, but there are still a few bugs left that need to be fixed.

Do you use TMPro in 16:9 projects alot? D1 files in DV projects? These are some of the few issues that 4.52 has right now. Check out the other threads regarding 4.52 issues.

did they fix the bug where export to file between in and out incorrectly stopped at end of clip instead of out point?

I move the IN point 10 seconds before the clip and 10 seconds after the clip for OUT point, and export to m2p (print to file with TC)...
The IN point is correct: 10 seconds black before video
The OUT point is ended at the end of the clip NOT at the OUT point.

The answer: yes and no !

          I think it's a bug, you think it's a bug, Anton thinks it's a bug ... but does GV accept it's a bug?

Depends on what the spec says. My feeling is the spec says it should stop at the defined Out point, but I don't have the spec...

Just wanted to know where we stand. If it is according to spec then that spec must have been changed recently, and we would like to vote to change it back again. Thanks.
