I disagree that the new manuals are better, they're just different... but that's just my personal opinion.

Give me the DVStorm/DVRex filter reference over the EDIUS filter reference any day. But then again, I'm biased again - I wrote it, heh.

    Don,

I'll bet the help is part of the legacy of stupendously bad manuals that came with older Canopus products. New ones are light years from the "Dark Days" where this Forum was the only ray of hope.

I agree that the wording is not the best in this case.

They are refering to the fact that you can drop the file on the timeline and lengthen or shorten it as needed and it maintains its properties.

The so called plugin is for playback only, not editing. So when you create an Imaginate project and save it, you can open the Imaginate project file in Edius for playback not editing.

Imaginate is not a "Plug-in", but Imaginate files can be loaded directly to the timeline!

    Pretty neat!

You guys have reminded me that I have never used Imaginate (2.02) as a plug-in with any Edius version but always as a stand-alone program. Since I have just installed 4.52 I can't see it in "Video Filters" in the "Effects" panel. Can you tell me how to install the plug-in please.
    Thanks

    Imaginate Working Yet?

I have the earlier version of Imaginate that I used pretty extensively with Premiere, and also on it's own. I used it for DV projects. I work pretty extensively with stills, and I found it pretty handy. I'd like to get Imaginate 2.0 and also use it in HD projects with Edius NX Express. Does it work yet, or are you still dependent oh the "work around".
Working...
