  • NX Board and Edius

I installed my friends Edius NX and Edius. I installed the hardware (I think I got the right driver) but Edius doesnt show a preset for it. What did I do wrong?

    Did you install

    Hardware,
    Drivers,
    Edius

    Or the other way around?
    Just re-install (modify) Edius

Does the board appear in the Windows Hardware Device Manager listing?

Now like with the Storm I should see a preset in Edius correct? All im getting is generic OHCI ones.

Rerun the driver installer for the NX. Use the one found in the setup files for EDIUS software.

The one in the root drivers folder on the Edius disc? Just so you know my board says NHX-E2 and I dont have a NHX-E2 on the disc.

If you've downloaded and installed 4.52 (or another version), make sure you use the one contained in there.

You want the HX-E1 folder - don't worry, it includes the driver for NHX-E2.

You don't have to reinstall EDIUS - just the drivers on top of the existing installation..
