    Yes and no. It depends on what you did to your video in AE. Motion blur, highlight rang and detail (when pushed) will be better than if you made changes in an 8bit comp for example. So, simply importing a clip into a 16bit comp, making zero changes and exporting will not create a better video. It's only for the effects that you're applying in your comp. Hope this helps...

    If I edit a sequence in After Effects at 16bpc output this the enter it into an edius sequence will there be any improvement in the final quality of the edius render?
