          just to clarify......

IMHO....the above long "johannesj-list" is the old ReadMy from the old v4.51c
and have not contex to the new fixes from the new v4.52 (or the topic-title)

          my two cents....old vienna-Hans ;-)

Yes, the "new features" listed above relate more to 4.5 in general.

It's the "Fixed" list that matters most to those who already have v4.51c.

              Khoi,

The TMP problem with no live output is fixed, However be aware that there are a couple of problems that have surfaced and are being looked at now.

The main thing is that in a 16:9 project, there is a bug where the titles are saved in 4:3. There is also a slight graphic shift if you use a graphic with a title.

I am sure Kenneally will post more on the known issues if he has not done so already.

this was from the Product-related Downloads page, under EDIUS Software v4 v4.52 Update

                there came:
Supported Hardware, Features Added in this Version and then
Fixed in this version (from v4.51c) wich this list came from.

the bug list is there to.

                Known Issues:
Here is the current list of known issues that QA have identified with the latest build of EDIUS 4.5 (4.51c). These will be addressed in future updates.

Note: These issues may not affect all users, but instead affect certain installations.
EDIUS crashes when using multiple nested sequence.
EDIUS crashes when making many camera points in multicam mode.
EDIUS hang up when canceling exporting ProCoder3.
                "Disabling tracks" is not effected.
A file is divided when capturing MPEG2 TS video over 24H.
Improper embedded packet of HDV stream that is encoded by SpeedEncoder.
EDIUS crashes when closing after minimize/maximize EDIUS window changing user account.
EDIUS crashes when importing MPEG4 files which are converted by FireCoder.
Audio noise occurs when playing back clips exported directly to XDCAM.
AAF exported from PDZ-1 is not supported.
EDIUS process is existing when closing EDIUS after playing back Infinity (MXF) files.
Exported HDV stream doesn't have "Binary group".
Field marker is not available with 50p/CtsTimeCode.
JVC BR-HD50 is not detected from MPEG TS Writer.

They are talking bout 4.5 and 4.51c in this part.

Is that new to 4.52 (that is: wasn't in 4.51c)? Is there a workaround?

Ok thanks Pat, but is it still usable? in Edius can I go into clip property and change back to 16X9? All I do is 16X9 so if there are no work around it then I will stick with 4.51c for now.

Yes, it is usable if you want to change the Properties from 4:3 to 16:9 or you have to go to each TMP file, make change of the width (Size & Attribute) of each line of the text.
Change the Properties is the fastest way.
The question: Can I change all title files from 4:3 to 16:9 at once ? (I have to do it one at a time) - Other issue: it only created 4:3 for new page!
                          ----------------
