Hi, I had a similar issue with 6.54...the files were there in the folder, but did not restore....I did a manual copy and add to the bin in a new folder, then copy ad replace in order to get the clips working again....just could not get the restore as I do all the time....maybe a bug in 6.54?....and the offline icons were still in the bin even after I got the clips back on the timeline......

    That I don't know.

Maybe you should try an older version of your project in backup.

    Steve,
I agree with everything you are saying. I still don't understand why all the clips are in the P2's Contents folder.

In think that the files point to the original P2 path .
I can't remember exactly but if the copy was not done correct the path would not be set to the disk. You have to insert the P2 card in the reader for EDIUS to find the path so it "registers the clips"
I think EDIUS is not showing the path because the path does not exists. ( card/reader not there)

And sorry 4.61 has faded from my memory......

The best bet is to insert the card . Or try an older copy of the project where you could restore them as you said.

That was my first reaction, but I found them in the contents folder, like I said before. And now they are in the bin and nowhere to go,

    Sure :
select on of the offline clips on the timeline.
    Press alt+enter
    Click on file info:
That panel will display the path.

Take a screenshot of it and attach it to yours post.

Yes you said that already (no need to repeat) can you please try to insert the P2 card?
Can you also check the path of the xml in one of the clips and make a screen shot and upload it.

The files are in the clip folder inside de content folder which is the main P2 folder. I was able to resore them once but after I saved the project and opened it again, they were gone again and the restore box would not open again. Only when I double click a grey clip, but with no info as the pix that I posted shows.

It could be that you did not transfer the files.
Try adding the P2 card. Close EDIUS. Start it and see if they are read correctly.
