I use DVStorm2 and Premiere 6.5.
My old computer renders a 2 second Xplode Pro Ball Bounce in 8 seconds and it is perfect.
My new computer renders it in 23 seconds and the picture shifts & blurs a bit during the transition.
Old Computer: Athlon 1800, 1.53GHz, 640 MB RAM, with a Metrox Millenium G550 Video Card.
New Computer: Athlon 64x2 Dual Processor 3800+, 2GHz, 3 GB RAM. I have tried each of these cards with the same results:
Radeon X800
Matrox P650
ATI X1950GT
Quadro
Nvidea 7300 (NG)
NVidia 7600 (NG)
The old computer took a DMA video card. The new computer takes a PCIe video card.
Also, in the Xplode Global Config, I have to use generic settings as the ones for the installed card either don't show up, or result in badly colorized video.
