  • Viewing external Monitor

For some reasons, after switching from PAL to NTSC and then back to PAL again my Edius won't play the time line through my TV monitor. It will play the Input from the camera but when I switch to the edit viewer it won't pump the picture through to the monitor! It used to!

Any idea what setting's been switched that shouldn't have been?

What version of EDIUS are you using?
And are you using EDIUS hardware, or just OHCI?

I had the exact problem with an older version of Edius. Switching from PAL to NTSC and back to PAL again yeah?

I used to uninstall the DVStorm 2 driver (in control panel) then took the card out, restarted without it, put it back in, then reinstalled the driver and it used to work fine again.

The new version of Edius doesn't seem to have this issue anymore as I switch between the two all the time without probs now.

I'd rather avoid dismantling the machine!

Any one know how to do this without that?

Try deleting the CANOPUS.INI file in your Windows folder, then reboot.

                Yes! We have lift off.

                That did the trick.

                Thanks.
