Error message when install 6.53 update

During the 6.53 install I got this message

I went for ignore restarted PC now Edius won't open, getting this message.

The first message should not have been ignored.
If EDIUS is still active in the task manager you should wait for it to close, restart the system or close it manually.

I think a re-install is in order. Restart you PC don't run EDIUS and install the update.
