QT in DNxHD not supported? (6.53)

I'll helping a friend with some files. We got on that is exported (I think) from FCP to a QT in DNxHD. I can import the file but not view. It works in Resolve, but not EDIUS. I thought that DNxHD was supported in EDIUS...

I only got Resolve Lite, so I can only export to 24fps (I guess, could not fine 25fps), but that works, to export it to a uncompressed QT and open in EDIUS.

any other solotions?

Have you downloaded the Avid Codec pack to the playback machine?

It is as long as you install the AVID codec pack
