6.5 trial with License Key?

Bit of a dilemma.

Just receivced from corporate IT a license key for 6.5 for install on a new laptop for an editor, but no software. The person I need to ask regarding this is out today.

If I downlad the trial version, does it have the option for entering in the key for unlocking it fully, or is there another "official" version needed.

Yes, the trial setup binary is the same and features are unlocked based on the key.
The exception is EDIUS Elite which has some "sidecar" pieces that install separately.

I run the 6.52 trial + activate per serial => without problems

It needs Quicktime 7.7.2
It needs win_7 SP_1

that tells you the installer
but shame to GV websites ... NOT the instructions on the downloadsite ..like the old (better) day's

for full version you have the DVD/BD styles and manuals as a seperate download (on the same place as the trial available)

Thanks guys - was fighting a deadline to get a reporter up and running for the weekend. Got the trial version downloaded.
