    I am using Edius 5.5 is there away that I has make an image file without burning a disk. There is th option when I burn to disk t make an image file at the same time but does not seem to allow you just to make an image file am I missing something

    Correct, it's not actually an ISO image, it is a DVD/Blu-Ray compliant folder structure.

    You can use ImgBurn (a free download) to convert it to an actual ISO.

      of course you can make the image without burning, simply only select the first option and ignore the fact that the second option has a grayed out tick in it, it is just misleading

      image in this case = folder structure as already mentioned, but that is fine
