Edius was not found

I am hoping that someone may be able to help me with this problem. I downloaded Edius 4.5 and 4.51c some time ago, but since I was half way through a project, did not wish to update. I now want to update, but when I run Setup Manager for Edius I am informed that "Edius was not found. This update will not proceed".

Edius is indeed present and has been since v1.0. I did a clean install of v4.24 when that became available. What do I have to do to update to v4.51c? (Is there a newer version coming soon, maybe that will update properly).

4.5 is a full installer, no need to use it

4.51c is an update to update an existing version, I recommend you wait for next update (a few days away) because there are some nasty problems in 4.51c

Also make sure you have the EDIUS dongle in your USB port.

The dongle in in the USB port. All works fine in 4.24, I just get the message when I tried to upgrade to 4.51c. I will wait for 4.52 to be released and try again.
