I set Camtasia studio to output the file to AVI, the codec that it uses for video compression is
TechSmith Screen Capture Codec which I set to Canopus DV.

It'll also work if you upgrade to EDIUS v4.5, as it will try to read AVIs in more codecs.
I believe Mike Downey loaded some Camtasia-captured files for the training.

Canopus products can't convert swf to avi, I tried them all includuing proCoder3
I then bought SWF2Video from www.flashants.com and it works perfect every time, I set uncompressed as destination codec
maybe if you set Camtasia to output uncompressed, it may work, try it

I used Camtasia studio 3 to record the flash video, not use what codec it uses to convert to avi?

What codec was used for the AVI compression? EDIUS versions prior to v4.5 are very picky about what AVI codecs are allowed for import.

I'm using Edius Pro 3
I have a number of flash files that I converted to AVI. They play fine in windows media but when I try to import them into Edius just the audio plays?
Any idea what might be wrong?? Thanks in advanced!Tags: None
