  • Help!!

    Hi my Edius 5.5 was crashed! but i can't find the Edius disc to repair it, nor the Edius official site because I think this version is out-dated! any place I can download 5.5? Urgent!

    I think you may be unlucky
    You should be able to retrieve the original E5 serial number from your registered products area
    and contact customer support for your region,

      If you have registered your copy you should be able to download it from the www.grassvalley.com web site downloads section. Version 5 is there. However, if you have not registered the version, that section will not be show3n.

        If you had registered you copy of EDIUS 5 the updates are available.
        Login to your account and download.

        If you didn't register please call tech support for your region.

          Now that would teach you, and all reading this post, that when you download updates of any software, always make a copy ..discs are cheap. I have copies of ALL my edius versions from Ver. 1, right up to 6.52...I download the updates, install and then make a disc just in case such should occur

            Since version 5 is protected by the dongle it should be no problem that your dealer where you bought your version provides an install disk.

              Just checked and its as i saw it earlier
              the download section has 5.51 and states you need to install the originall CD first

                  You have to install 5 first which is where your problem started

                    This is why I have a 400 GB download archive, heh.

                    Always archive in some manner. Websites don't last forever, neither do companies.
