  • color of clips on timeline in Edius 6.07

I just finished a project that was exported successfully to both DVD and BD-R. Play back quality was normal and outstanding in every respect.

One of the clips when placed on the timeline was gray in color rather than the usual green color on the timeline. All the clips were from the same camera
(EX-1R) and were shot in sequence under the same camera settings and lighting condidions. I deleted the clip several times and replaced it from the bin and always it was gray in color. However, it played
correctly and when exported was also correct.

Question: When a clip is placed on the timeline and the color is gray rather the normal green color, is that an indication that something is wrong with the clip?

Just wondering what the different color meant

    Thanks as always

Nothing wrong. It usually indicates a sequence or merged clip. Simply a different color.
