  • Slowlyness when switching from source monitor to record monitor

    Hi,

I've recently upgraded from Edius Vroadcast V4.2 to 4.51. And i'm getting a problem I already had on older versions, each time I switch between source and record monitors I have to wait for three seconds for the monitor I'm going into to be activated. I'm running Edius SP V4.51 Broadcast.

    Thanks in advance.

this is a feature and a pain in the rear and not a bug

to overcome, switch ref to internal free run and all will be instant

using external ref is totally useless for editing but I use it during capture and during print to tape

(totally useless = dramatically slows edit performance)

This happened to me with the NX, but I reinstalled it and it was fine after that? It has to do with the driver for sure.

Try reinstalling the driver off the Edius 4.51c download.

Edit*: Never mind, I see what Anton's talking about now...
