No don't have to move any files
Just point the VST bridge to the directory as Quoted see below, it has already placed the interface files there
C:\Program files(x86)\Steinberg\VstPlugin
Restart Edius and they will be there
Yes Spectral repair is the one that does not work

VST bridge problem
Tried the suggestion above. Copied the RX2 win32 dll files to a folder called VST Plugins. Used System Settings-Effect-VST Bridge to point to that folder. None show up in the Effects panel under Audio filters. Ideas?
Izoptope says RX2 can be used as VST plugins-maybe not the spectral repair one but the others should work. So, what am I doing wrong?
I also copied these DLLs to the EDIUS 6.5\Plugin\VST folder and they STILL don't show up. The folders show up under the system setting-Effect-VST Plugin dialog but nothing on the effects palette. Am I missing a step?
BTW, these are not from the Edius Bonus disc but purchased separately from Izotope and are the latest versions.

Chappyware
Have you tried using RX2 inside edius, I have no problems, just a matter of directing Edius to the plug in in the VST plug in Bridge
The plug in is in the Program files(x86)/Steinberg\Vstplugin directory, add to the bridge and it will appear in the Audio filters, Izotope folder, 6 filters will present themselves
Dosn't even slow Edius down, I think from memory only one does not work
Has to be the 32 bit one but Edius sorts that out from the VST directory

32 bit vs 64 bit version of RX2-does it matter?
I use the 64 bit version of RX2 just for speed advantage but save it as a wav file for importing into Edius 6.5. Would that matter? I assumed not.

here's how I get this result
The playback seems to be right in synch. they number in the red box is 307 if you have trouble seeing it.Attached Files

This maybe a kludge, but I would leave the original audio on the time line as is and just mute it (no need to ungroup). I would put the sweetened audio on a separate audio track, and use the original audio as a reference to synch it based on waveform.

all synch buttons on
any other ideas- the sound seems synched ok and this last one I just did has a +307! any other ideas? Maybe it's not a problem but a quirk of RX2 processed wav files???Appreciate any more suggestions/comments

This means that the audio and video are out of sync and the numbers tell how many frames out of sync. The common error when this happens on Insert is that one or all of the Sync Buttons are off.

Is Isotope RX doing something unwanted to the audio?
I'm sure it is as there is that 1 little section of silence added at the end of the clip after processing. what to do?

no luck
reset all mapping and re-imported, dragged to timeline etc. still get +/35 red box when I group. Do I need to worry? any other thoughts on fixing this?

Try clearing your track mapping - sounds like you're putting the clip somewhere that only part of the clip can "sit" and EDIUS is making adjustments to make it happen how it thinks you want it.

So how to fix this?
I ungroup again, right click and select audio offset. I delay the +35 by 35 and I get a blue box saying audio offset but when I re-group, the red +/- 35 still appears. What am I doing wrong? Advancing does the opposite but the red boxes don't change when I regroup.

IIRC the red number indicated audio offset from the linked video.
