  • 16x9 in a 4x3 project

I have been editing a 4x3 SD project for a client. Suddenly they have brought me 1080P 16x9 clips to integrate with the previous footage. Any hints on how to integrate these new clips, and how to make them 4x3 to match the frame size? Will I have to re-encode (downrez) each clip as a 4x3 SD clip before putting them on the time line?
