  • HDSpark Output with 23.98p

HDSpark Specification lists its supported Video Formats (Output) (HDMI) as follows

    1920x1080i50/59.94
    1920x1080p23.98
    1280x720p50/59.94
    720x480i59.94
    720x576i50
    720x480p59.94
    720x576p50

Unfortunately when setting HDSpark Output in Preview Device of 1920x1080 23.98p 16:9 10bit project, EDIUS 6.52 reports "Device doesn't support the current format. Unable to update settings".

Why? and how to output to LCD Monitor via HDMI

It not the frame rate but the color depth.
    Spark is 8 bit only.

If you are not getting output in 8bit, make sure you check the pulldown tickbox.
