Hi,
I captured a couple of clips off my Canon HV20 in MPEG2 1440 X 1080. I added soft focus filter to one of the clips, a 3d transition between clips and a title. All are in real time, and play smoothly on my system with two older 3.2 xeon 800 mhz processors, and 2 gigs of ram. Too bad my motherboard in incompatible with NX card because I'm getting pretty good performance, but I will upgrade to new motherboard with 2.6 or 2.9 quad core and fast ram, then get NX Express.
Way back when I decided it was time I was finished with DV Storm and Premiere, I looked at Edius but it just didn't seem like much, so I went to Liquid Edition Pro. Edius looks pretty good now. With the NX Express I'll have the overlay to external monitor for SD or HD, which I really wouldn't want to do without. I also plan to get 1TB G-Tech esata external with two 500gig in software raid.
