Are you guys talking about the Log/Linear display setting for the audio level-points? (Application Settings | Timeline | Waveform)

If so, that only affects the display not the actual adjustment ramp.

Interesting question. I never thought about that one. I can't think of any good way to do that. There is no individual audio track control that I know of.

    Next question then.

Is it possible to change it for one track, or just one section of video, as most time I like the spline, but I just can't get spline to sound right at this one bit, and the linear fade is better.

So, I saved an audio track with the linear fade, dropped it back in to the timeline and then switched back to spline to carry on.

All I wanted was a linear fade to the end of an audio track, was there a simple way of doing it?

    Doh!

I'm sure I saw something different last time, thanks both.

SETTINGS > APPLICATION SETTINGS > TIMELINE

It is on the right hand side about 2/3 of the way down. It says Waveform on the top of the box.

    Which is the timeline page?
    I have
    extend clips at the top..........
    snap event in the middle
and clip timecode/thumbnail at the bottom, no sign of changing audio.

Change audio fade to linear from spline

I think that's the way round I want it.

I want to change the way it fades when you use the nodes in the audio file so that it fades gradually from full to nil, rather than slowly then quickening up at the end.

I've seen it somewhere, but now I want it I can't find it anywhere.

I've tried dropping an audio cross fade on, but as its the end this won't work.
