  • Placing Audio in A1 Track from Bin

    Hello,

I just updated my edius to v4.51 today, and now i can't seen to drag and drop audio from the bin into the A1 track. It seem to only allow me to drag it into to the 1 VA track. I've figured out a work around by braging the file into the 1 VA track and then copy/cut then paste it into the A1 track. However I don't want to have to do this every time I want to add audio into the A1 track.

Is this a bug, or am I missing something? The audio files are just .mp3s.

I apologize if this has already been discussed in the forum, I did search for some solutions, but didn't find anything.

    Any help is appreciated

Go to the little A on the right hand side of the timeline, click and choose Clear all tracks.

      Something like that...

      Hello!

I'm having almost the same problem. My situation:

Somewhere on my computer I have a mp3 song that I want to add to my timeline. I search for that .mp3 file in Explorer, and when I find it, I copy it into my Edius project folder (ex. my project data is in C:\edius projects\project, I copy the file in C:\edius projects\Project...). Then I go to Edius and with the right click on the bin I add it. When I tried to drag it into the 1 A track, nothing happend. Well, next to my cursor, there was a little X. I tried to drag the file into 1 VA track, but it was the same.

      Any ideas? Thanks...

Same problem, same advice. Click on the "A" and clear all tracks.
BTW, no need to copy it to your project folder. You can import the file from anywhere on your computer

Be sure to enable audio on the timeline.
